We can help with immunoaffinity purification
Affinity purification can be used two ways: to purify the antigen, or to purify antibody.
GMA offers immunoaffinity purification as a standard component of all polyclonal projects. We can make the column with as little as 1 mg of antigen and purify several mg of specific immunoglobulin. We can also biotinylate a portion of the purified antibody for use with avidin-peroxidase.
We recommend you execute a small-scale pilot approach using several milligrams of antigen or antibody as a first step. The information obtained from a small column can then be used for scale-up to large or industrial-scale purification or to re-design the purification process.
